Full dentures with a bite

Once again this year, many highly motivated dental technicians and prosthodontists have registered for our renowned dental technology “KunstZahnWerk” (KZW) Award. The 120 international participants will work on a challenging patient case in the field of full denture prosthetics, which requires both dental technique, creativity in aesthetic realisation and a sound understanding of the functional relationships of the orofacial system.

The Jury

The submitted works will be evaluated by a jury, which will also be made up of three renowned prosthetic experts:

Senior physician at the Philipps University of Marburg

Head of Education at the Swiss School of Prosthetics by Candulor (SSOP)

Great importance is attached to a comprehensible model analysis, the set-up of the teeth as well as the characterization of the denture base. In addition, it will be checked whether the work meets the specific patient preferences. Above all, it is important to us and the jury that the participants learn from the case. After all, working on the patient's case is not only about practical experience, but in particular about the application of prosthetic expertise.

We are confident that many of the participating dental technicians will create prosthetic solutions that are highly functional and virtually indistinguishable from the natural original. In the combination of excellent know-how and refined craftsmanship, prosthetics becomes a form of art, as we will no doubt see again at the Awards.”

The 15 best dentures and documentaries will be honored. In detail this means, that the 3 best submissions will receive the CANDULOR Awards, the places 4-15 as well as the best documentaries will receive small gifts.

Procedure

The registration deadline for KZW 2025 is already closed. Participants are currently in the processing phase.
Participants have time until January 12, 2025 to return their finished work to us.
On Friday, March 28, 2025, the winners will be announced at the IDS in Cologne. Furthermore, the best works will be exhibited on the Candulor booth hall 11.3 booth A-008.
