Static Pointer
The Static Pointer with integrated laser is an easy-to-use instrument to ensure that the posterior teeth are positioned over the center of the alveolar ridge and that the resulting statics of the dentures are correct. In addition, model analysis points and markings on the bite template can easily be projected on the positioning and adopted. Systematic errors are reduced to a minimum with this tool. This increases the position and chewing stability of full dentures, especially in the mandible.

Advantages
- Suitable for every existing setup system
- Facilitates model analysis (fewer work steps)
- Supporting didactics on the topic of basic statics
- Using the measuring scale on the base plate, the vestibular extension of the maxillary anterior teeth in relation to the Papilla Incisiva is easy to check
- Checking the incisor position in relation to the first large palatal fold
- Adopting markings from the bite template, for example, patient center and position of canine to the master model
- Checking the terminal tooth in relation to the determined positioning stop
- Planning of implant positions in relation to esthetic try-in

Step 1
To ensure perfect measurement on the base plate of the measurement scale, the laser point needs to be aligned first with the scale by rotating the laser pointer in the holder.
Step 2

Step 2
By loosening the screw in the vertical arm, the horizontal arm can be moved forwards and backwards in the longitudinal hole.
Step 3

Step 3
Position the base of the articulator or the model below the Static Pointer.

Step 4
Autonomous chewing stability: the laser beam is aligned to the cusps or the fossa.
Step 5

Step 5
Then the dentures are removed and it is checked whether the laser point strikes the bone base.
Step 6

Step 6
A millimeter scale on the base plate can, for example, be used to determine the overbite of the anterior teeth.
